Restaurant : the farmhouse has a large dining room with a maximum capacity of about 100 people, where you can taste typical dishes of local (Panadas) and regional cuisine.
Gastronomy : the culinary term "Panada" identifies the community of Assemini throughout the regional territory. "Sa panada" is a dish based on fish, usually eels, or meat - with potatoes or peas-beans. It is used a pasta dough worked manually in the shape of a "pot" that contains the filling inside. It all cooks together like inside a pressure cooker. When the dough becomes golden, after cooking, it is served hot and you eat both the fragrant stuffing that the "pot" (the pastry dough). Going back to the origins of this culinary peculiarity is practically impossible due to lack of precise data. "Sa panada" was born as a dish of a simple people of fishermen and farmers who lived in the countryside of Assemini, from which they fished, in particular eels in the pond of S. Gilla, and lamb meat from the surrounding pastures. All this meant that these products constituted the main food of the Asseminians. "Sa panada" is a very tasty dish, a complete and appetizing second that manages to reveal the flavors of the territory.
