    “My least good experience with agriturismo so far”

    The place is quiet, the room and bathroom were clean, the bedding is good.

    When you decide to stay in agriturismo, it is because you are searching for cozy authentic environment in the middle of the nature and you appreciate human contact with the locals and you want to taste local, seasonal food made with ingredients grown on the farm. Well, that was not it. The breakfast (that you have to pay extra!) was very disappointing. 95% of what we eat were cheap industrial supermarket products. The place lacks cozyness and authenticity. What is sold as “deluxe triple room with a private terrace is a very plain and basic room with tiled entrance. No outdoor furniture (to call it a terrace). The owner is not very talented in communication or hospitality. You pay Michelin star price for a very everage dinner. The “cherry on the cake” was when the owner entered into our room while we were in bed without knocking under pretext he didn’t know we were there. It was a disappointing experience altogether.

    Sehr herzliche Gastgeber*innen, die sich um jedes Anliegen gekümmert haben. Sehr sauberes und schönes Zimmer auf einem großen Grundstück mit Blick auf den Ätna. Wir haben drei Mal dort zu Abend gegessen und wurden von erstklassigen Menüs überrascht. Sehr sehr lecker! Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, frisch und lecker.

    Es gibt nichts negatives zu nennen.

    “Tino and his family were warm and very welcoming!”

    * Good location of farmhouse in relation to Taormina and Etna, in quiet suburb * Pool with furnished towels * Modern rooms and facilities, including good beds, good water pressure and air conditioning * Tino is very helpful for tourist attractions in the region * Great food prepared by Tino and his family! * Very responsive to all our requests, including a special menu that we desired for a specific evening, and when we wanted to organize our own meal

    * Not possible to turn air conditioning on or off by ourselves (need to ask Tino) * Not possible to open property gate by ourselves with car (need to phone Tino when no reaction at the gate; guests should be equipped with electronic clicker to open gate) * No possibility to make tea or coffee in the room (need to ask Tino for hot water)

    Très bonne cuisine, cadre champêtre très agréable, belle ferme, maison neuve parfaite pour un séjour, entourée d’arbres fruitiers. Cadre très calme et reposant

    Accès un peu difficile sur une route accidentée, mais c’est la Sicile !
